Apply and instruct on make-up
Provide lash and brow treatments
Provide a manicure treatment
Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this qualification although there is a pre-requisite for units VR2 / VR74 which make up the VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Health, Safety, Security and Employment Standards. If you have taken an IIHHT, IHBC or IIST course with VTCT (Vocational Training Charitable Trust) in the last three years then you should have covered these units. If not you will be required to cover these units by home study with the aid of course material provided by the centre.
Examination System
Continuous assessment by means of written homework, assignments and home practice. Home study and practice is over a minimum period of three months. A final assessment date is arranged after the home study period. Please note that a fee of £71.00 is payable for the VTCT assessment and verification which includes lifetime registration and Health & Safety modules. If you are already registered with VTCT this fee may be reduced by up to £30.00.
Qualification Attained
IHBC Level 2 Certificate in Make-up and Manicure.
Course Format
The course is run as either Weekends, Saturdays or Weekdays. It may be possible to ‘mix’ course dates if certain dates are inconvenient.
Further Information
Course times are from 10.30 am to about 4.30 pm depending on the group size. The group size is kept below ten for individual attention. The venue is at the Manchester School of Beauty in South Manchester.
